The Carmel Six: Lake Front(ish) Properties Under $200,000

Sometimes, five Town of the Week property posts just isn’t enough, especially when we’re dealing with a jackpot like Carmel. So, as promised in our Carmel Town of the Week post on Monday, here are six lovely properties, most located in a lakefront community, that go just as easy on the wallet as the eyeballs:

Mahopac is one of two large hamlets in the town of Carmel (Carmel being the other). Adirondack-style log cabin is on Kirk Lake, and Lake Mahopac is on the other side. It’s on over an acre (the largest lot of the six we’ve looked at here). Listing suggests that it may need some tweaks in order to function as a year-round residence, but it sure is charmingly rustic!
